Atefeh Pashazadeh

Dr. Atefeh Pashazadeh is a certified Persian (Farsi) ↔ English translator and cross-cultural communication professional with more than two decades of experience spanning translation and interpreting, project management, international relations and communications, and cross-cultural professional collaboration. Her multidisciplinary career brings together language expertise, management, communication, and extensive experience working across professional and cultural contexts.

She holds Certified Translator credentials in both Persian-to-English and English-to-Persian translation with ATIO in Ontario and NAATI in Australia, and is an Affiliated Certified Translator with STIBC in British Columbia. She is also a Chartered Linguist (CL) with the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) in the United Kingdom. Her professional memberships and affiliations also include ATA, NAJIT, and AUSIT.

Prior to establishing her professional practice in Canada, Dr. Pashazadeh worked for many years as an Official Translator in Iran, where she also owned and managed an official translation office. This experience, combined with more than two decades of professional practice, has given her an in-depth understanding of the entire translation process—from document assessment and precise terminology to quality control, translation project management, and the preparation of documents for submission to different authorities and institutions. Her extensive experience with diverse documents and clients continues to inform her emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and professional quality.

Her academic background spans English language studies, executive management, and organizational behaviour, complemented by graduate-level studies in Canadian immigration and citizenship law at Queen’s University. Together with her experience in project management and international communications, this multidisciplinary background supports her work at the intersection of language, cross-cultural communication, management, and professional services.
